Open Question: Big chunks of wall coming down?

My wall is currently falling apart.Huge chunks of fall can be seen on the floor and a huge hole is left on the wall.I was wondering what can be done to fix this..Holes are appearing in all walls of the room with small cracks above it or around it.The old owners added wood panels for the room so i cant tell whether or not the walls have been breaking apart for a while.inside the hole there is some sort of wiring and pipes since the bathroom is next door to the biggest wall in the room, should i instead add a whole new wall for my bedroom since there is many holes or simply just cover the holes?,what tools will i need and how easy or difficult is this job?

Open Question: Kitchen Design ideas?

I am having a home built and starting everything from scratch, I would like a few ideas. We have custom oak cabinetry being made, we can pick the stain color. We are planning on having just vinyl flooring, it will have stainless steel appliances. It will have a formica counter top. So my question is, What is a nice combination of stains/counter colors/floor design to compliment each other. I like rich colors, clean lines and a nice flow. The flooring will flow from the kitchen to the bathroom and laundry room also. Any idea would be nice.

Open Question: Heated floors with vinyl flooring?

I am having a home built, it has heated floors and we are planning on putting in vinyl flooring but have heard mixed comments on whether it is ok to use vinyl flooring on heated floors. we have heard that it acts as an insulator and you dont get the benefits of the heated floors, others say that with heated floors the vinyl can lift and release from the floor because the glue isnt made for it, but we have also heard there is glue made specifically for heated floors on vinyl. What is the real deal? Are vinyl floors ok or not on heated floors?
