Looking for a cheap one,?Open Question: Renaissance bedroom ideas? My room currently looks live a 3rd grader's room & my step-mom agreed to let me redecorate my room. I really love the Renaissance, but I need help getting ideas of things I could put in my room. I would like it if yall would give me a website with Renaissance type stuff.
Open Question: CLASSICAL, GIRLY BEDROOM IDEAS?Well basically I am looking to re-decorate my room. I am thinking of putting tinny eiffel towers around my walls as a border. Then a couple of posters of far away places on my door. Maybe a giant fan above my bed (but im still REALLY unsure of what to put above my bed!!!) ANY ideas on how to decorate my bedroom to make it a classical, girly, romantic room would be great, thank you! Open Question: should i get a new bed?im 15. right now i have a twin bed its kinda small but i sleep fine in it but i think id like to get a full bed so its a little bigger. the only problem is it might make my room look smaller since it takes up more space. do u think its worth it to get a bigger bed, is it a lot more comfortable? ive had my bed/matress for 15 years is that old Open Question: what are the regulations on outdoor wood burning stoves in Laceyville, Pennsylvania?Open Question: Does brown and pink go well together? :/?I'm thinking of decorating my room, and I thought that a nice chocolate brown would work well, but I'd quite like to integrate a candy-floss pink as well, as a lot of my accessories in my room are that colour. On the surface, I think it's quite a nice combination, but there's something about it that's bothering me and I don't know what! My room's quite large and light, so the colours don't matter so much. Do you think that the colours would work well together? (: <3 Open Question: I need some ideas for bedroom decorating?I'm moving back home for a while to help out my family and I'm going to be redecorating my bedroom. For years the color scheme has been burgundy red with hints of deep purple and tarnished gold, lots of silky fabrics and velvet and antique looking furniture -- almost a victorian feel. While I love that style, I'm ready for a change. The biggest issues are that it is a basement bedroom, which means I have only 1 very small window near the ceiling behind my bed, and the bed was custom made by my dad, who is a carpenter, (shameless plug for their business here: www.meyerbrothersandsons.com), is affixed to the floor (as per my stupid request some years ago), so I can't really rearrange the furniture very easily. The nice thing about it, is that the drawers are built into the side which means I have no need for a dresser, which opens up a lot of space. The bed is made of ash, which is a light wood, so I would like a color scheme that compliments that. I like the urban look, but I don't really know if I can pull it off with the style of the bed. The room is fairly large, so dark colors are OK in it, but I'd like something lighter. Any suggestions? i forgot about the floor -- thanks for mentioning it! it's just a neutral beige carpet. I wish it was hardwood, but at least beige is easy to work with. and i do have a headboard, but it's a book case. but your other ideas are stellar! More Recent Articles
