Open Question: has anyone done brown bag wallcovering?Open Question: i need help designing my bedroom! please help(: ?My older brother moved out of the house, so my parents are letting me move into his larger bedroom. They've given me a $2000 budget for furniture and decorating. It measures 11ft.x11ft. The north wall has a window on the far right, measuring 2ft wide and 4 ft tall, about 20 inches off the floor. The east wall has a 7ft wide closet and clearance for the bedroom door to open. The south wall has the door, on the far left when looking at it from the inside of the room. The west wall has a 4ft.x4ft. window in the center, 40 inches off the floor. The floor is a cream-colored carpet, and the walls are eggshell. The room must have a full-sized bed, a dresser (preferably with a mirror), a desk, and a bookcase. Items I'd love but aren't necessary are a vanity, a nightstand, and a chair (a round, saucer chair). I'm a teenage girl with very broad tastes. Don't be afraid to get creative! I love a lot of design styles. I just want my room to look really good, maybe a little sophisticated, and trendy is always good. Please give me room to walk around and actually use my furniture.(; Links and/or pictures are greatly appreciated. We live in Okinawa which is humid but it's winter and less humid so it doesn't really make sense. Anyway, we called and got a new one for free but I'm wondering if I should leave the plastic on it to prevent this from happening again. We leave the plastic on our kids' mattresses in case they wet the bed and they seem to be doing fine.
