Open Question: Has anyone tried Wailwik to remove old wallpaper?

I saw this product on the DIY network and they raved about it. I wonder if it was a sales job or is it really any good?

Open Question: Lamp Shade Fix Needed!?

I have a few lamps that I found great priced lamp shades for (you know how expensive those can be). The thing is they are the ones that you can't put a harp on... just four bars connected to a circle that goes where the bulb twists in. Yet, I need to make the lamp shades sit higher up then they do (if I could use a harp it would be an easy fix). How can I get these to sit higher up since I can't use a harp? Help!

Open Question: Look at this and tell me, what do you think?

I am in the mood for a change for my bedroom I want more of a modern and sophisticated look. A while ago my mother bought me a zebra stripe bed comforter and I kinda want to revolve my room around that. So here is what I was thinking for my room; I want white walls and black trim. A just plane more modern looking full white bed and a long ways up dresser. That may sound plain but i was gonna get a black picture frame with a pic of whatever and a clear glass vase with fake black roses to go in it to put on the dresser. And then to hang a picture on the wall like i was thinking a black and white picture of a flower. And then I want fold down black blinds for both my windows. And then white dresser doors. Here are some links for an idea of the things I want: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3321574 -Just the white bed part http://www.remodelista.com/img/sub/ikea-hemnes-dresser.jpg - This dresser but white http://www.centerpiecestudio.com/images/Product/9710209-rectangular-vase-L.JPG - This is the vase http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350296988451&rvr_id=&crlp=1_263602_263622&UA=WXI7&GUID=e6d2dfe51250a0265292ad32fd9ebe07&itemid=350296988451&ff4=263602_263622 - Only one of these http://shop.thehungersite.com/store/product/image/35685.gif- The one with the back out and without the silver thing http://www.shutterpoint.com/Photos-ViewPhoto.cfm?id=545118- Like this but without the yellow and real of course So that's it but you're probably thinking okay so what do i think about what? Well told this to my mom and she said " You're a girl i want something more girly for your room" (yes thats exactly what she said!) Don't you think that is girlish!? I am just a simple girl and i just want a simple room! Help me prove my mother wrong!!! And sorry that was long and I know the links are confusing. Sorry again.
