Open Question: Business:Installing hardwood flooring, painting and cleaning offices, and homes.?My uncle has been a house builder for a long time, and he decided to stop that because he is getting older. Right now he began installing hardwood flooring, painting and cleaning offices, and homes. He is just trying to keep himself busy since he doesn't work much anymore because of that he does all of those mentioned above for a very cheap price, and he even got contract with Menards for up to 20% off hardwood floor, and possibly other painting products as well. He registered himself, and opened up his own small business. Now I am wondering how I can help him find people who would be interested. He made his business cards and they are going all around, but I was wondering how I can post about his business online as well without making a website. Open Question: Glides For Bottoms of Original Saarinen Tulip Chairs? We have owned 4 of these "Tulip" armchairs since the mid sixties. Bought from Knoll Associates in NYC. We continue to love them. After we purchased them, we learned that the cast aluminum bases discolored (gray marks) on vinyl flooring in our kitchen where they and round similarly based table located. Never told they came with anything to cover bases and assumed that that was the way they came. Changed flooring to carpeting. Now remodeling kitchen and thinking of putting down wood or bamboo floor. Worried that chairs may damage flooring. Does anyone know of existance of some form of felt or other fabric type material to apply to bottom of base to permit glide without damaging floor? And that will stick to bottom! Open Question: how should i decorate my bedroom ?I am getting my room completely redecorated and the only thing that has to stay is my carpet which is cream.
