Open Question: How can I best sew decorative patches and borders onto clothes?I have no sewing machine, and I've tried different things, but I'm not sure what's best, it usually takes me ages. Especially borders are a real problem. Any advice? Open Question: How to move a mattress to a new apartment?I had bought a full size mattress from IKEA for $200 around 4 months back. Now, I might be moving to a new apartment. I am a student and I am new to USA. I wanted to know how to move the mattress to a new apartment (5-7 blocks away)? When I got it, it was all squeezed, compressed and rolled up. How that it has been decompressed, how do I move it? I don't have a car and I don't think none of my friends do, at least not a car big enough for a mattress. Any ideas? I didn't want to hire movers just for 1 mattress. Thanks for your time. Open Question: Should i be angry my neighbor hasnt taken care of his curb appeal?So heres the deal ...my house is by no means perfect but i try to do some landscaping ..I recently removed a large tree that cost me a thousand and put in a new retaining wall ...no big deal but made the place look better...the white house is mine....its a smll dead end street but very nice the kids in the neighborhood are nice folks well the house across the street was sold from a old couple so they did little to no work to the house...the new owners bought it very high put alot of work into it then got forclosed on things happen who am i to hate. they painted the place had it almost looking 100% nice again ... then a new family bought it out of forclosure the new guy cut some trees down started sprucing the place up i was finally thinking great hell pick up around the front of his land and make things nice .....Oh no he didnt ...so he put up a new fence i know the fence ran him like 3 -4 grand ....he cleaned up a little but left the paint falling off his house then one day he sees me and my neighbor workin on our houses comes over and says ...wow you guys are really sprucing things up looks nice...and he says OH yea i am planning on painting my house but the weather hasnt been cooperating ...and it was dry for like a wek straight which was why we were workin on our houses ....and he says hes gonna paint it as soon as the weathers better.....and he still hasnt touched the place and its dead winter here what a slob ....i want to sell my house but cant and wont put it on the market til he paints would be nice to make the street look like a great neighborhood again i mean his house isnt even big he could go to lowes and get a coler match and match the peeling yellow perfect not to mention he had his house steam washed to be painted or hey at least paint the front for curb appeal or your neighbors who hav been waitin since u owned it over a year ago ...i dont know what his hold up could be Some People. Talk about selfish take a look for yourself shoot pay me ill take care of it ...he wants to change the coler its not the taj mahal and if u dont wanna do the whole thing jus make it look nice for the curb appeal now watch it get painted this week and the coler be butt awful......be careful what I ask for..this guy is killin my property value ....should I be angry about this? Open Question: where can I get a low sided bath?Dont want a walk in bath but as we are elderly, we are finding the high sided bath difficult to get into. We dont like showers and we dont want devices to raise us up and down We just want a bath with low sides. Some bath companies are a nuisance once contacted -we dont want that either.
