Open Question: How do you fix a leaking bathtub pipe? and more... Open Question: How do you fix a leaking bathtub pipe?My second floor bathtub is leaking. We opened up the ceiling on the first floor and can see the pipe that is leaking. We can see the pipe coming down from the drain, and can see/feel that the leak is happening where that pipe meets the connecting piece. I think the pipe is copper. It's definitely not plastic. Any ideas? Open Question: Washable writing materials?I want to write on my walls and keep it on for a couple years at least. (It will be like a mural of my favorite quotes in my large, somewhat empty closet.) The reason I need it to be temporary is that my mom thinks I will tired of it, and doesn't want to have to paint over it. Wall decals or stickers are out of the question, because it would cost a ridiculous about of money. I was thinking of using pencil, but color or at least something darker would be preferable. Any ideas? P.S. I don't want chalkboard paint. If yes, how much in how long?My mom's boyfriend installed bamboo siding on the wall behind our stove and oven and made some very sloppy and uneven cuts. One section of sidings is cut so uneven and sloppy that the wood length differs from piece to piece by almost 1/2 inch at times, not to mention they are not clean cuts. His excuse was that the wood is going to expand. When we asked him about the clean flush cuts he did make he told us that the wood had already expanded on those pieces. LOL! Needless to say we don't believe a word, but he told us that he went to school and studied this and said we should look it up, so here we are. I had a lot of books and other stuff in my desk. I want to find a storage unit that has the little cubby things. I don't want to spend a lot of money. Also, any other decorating ideas would be great.
