I need window treatments for my townhouse. I am planning to buy honeycomb blinds because of the tax rebate (30%). If I but expensive blinds like hunter douglas, what percent of the money spent should I expect to get back when i sell the house? I'm planing to go with neutral colors like white, sand, off-white or gray.

Open Question: Is it necessary to apply pre-stain conditioner before re-staining wood?

Is it necessary to apply pre-stain conditioner on wood after stripping/sanding and before applying new stain? Just wonder if skipping this step will negatively effect the outcome. I will be using Minwax Ebony stain on wood cabinets after sanding. Thanks!
