Open Question: how much would carpet cost to put in a home?were thinking of moving into this house thats absolutely beautiful but the problem is theres no carpet.the only flooring is tile in the den.the house is 2095 sq feet and the dimensions are: *please exclude the den Living: 18X14 Den: 19X14 Dining: 11X11 Kitchen: 11X9 Breakfast: 10X7 1st Bed: 23X15 2nd Bed: 10X10 3rd Bed: 12X11 i figured by not having to pay for them to remove the carpet would save me quite a bit.please help? and if i get cheap carpet? They've given me a $2000 budget for furniture and decorating. It measures 11ft.x11ft. The north wall has a window on the far right, measuring 2ft wide and 4 ft tall, about 20 inches off the floor. The east wall has a 7ft wide closet and clearance for the bedroom door to open. The south wall has the door, on the far left when looking at it from the inside of the room. The west wall has a 4ft.x4ft. window in the center, 40 inches off the floor. The floor is a cream-colored carpet, and the walls are eggshell. The room must have a full-sized bed, a dresser (preferably with a mirror), a desk, and a bookcase. Items I'd love but aren't necessary are a vanity, a nightstand, and a chair (a round, saucer chair). I'm a teenage girl with very broad tastes. Don't be afraid to get creative! I love a lot of design styles. I just want my room to look really good, maybe a little sophisticated, and trendy is always good.
