Open Question: Flooring colors/materials for townhouse?

I have a townhouse that is 3 levels. The main level has cherry colored hardwood floors. I am about to install new floors in the basement, which is only connected by a carpeted staircase. I am putting laminate (fake hardwood) flooring down in the basement and have 2 colors to choose from. One that is similar to the cherry upstairs or a much lighter maple color that may make the basement feel brighter (its all underground). Is it important to have similar color flooring from level to level?

Open Question: interesting room ideas for a teenage girl? :)?

okay so basically, im going to be redesigning my room soon. and my washroom for my washroom, i was inspired by audrey kitching's washroom, (im not the biggest fan of her, but i saw a pic of her bathroom a while ago and it's so awesome). her bathroom walls are pink with darker-ish pink bubbles painted all over :) im probably going to do that with my bathroom, except green, or purple or blue or something. ideas on colours? also, for my actual bedroom, i want an idea kind of like the one of my bathroom, except FOR my bedroom XD ideas would be appreciated :) BYE! and thanks! :D

Open Question: Can a shower door be installed on a gel coat mold shower?

My shower is in the corner of the room. It is a standard shower stall with a shower curtain. I am doing some remodeling in my bathroom and I was wondering if a door could be added by a professional. It is made of (I guess) fiberglass or some type of plastic. There is no tile or anything to drill into.
