Open Question: Constant taping noise from inside my apartment wall, It's making me insane (seriously).?I live alone, upstairs apartment. Outside is quiet, and no loud neighbors. But... this noise. Started about 2 months ago. This happens about 3-4 times a day. Each time lasting for about 20-40 minutes. I will try to describe it as best as I can. Starts off with a small "duppt" (sounds exactly how you would pronounce it) noise that comes from my wall that is in between my room and living room. It starts off low and gets louder (not so loud but enough to make me crazy). The noise goes on and off on and off until it slowly lowers down. It usually happens at nights between 6pm to 12am. But today it happened at 8am and woke me up. I don't want to go complain because this noise comes on randomly and at nights... and how am I supposed to show them the noise? One thing I noticed is that this never happened when the weather was hot. It's winter now and it started happening, could it be the heater or something when my downstairs neighbors are using it? It might be impossible to tell what the source of this noise is from the net, but if you have any ideas, please tell me what it could be. This is literally making me insane because I don't go out much. Open Question: Help?
