Just moved... my studio is basically one room, with a balcony. It's on the 3rd floor of a 3-story building, but because of how it's facing, there is hardly any natural sunlight even with the balcony. How can I brighten up the place as well as make it seem bigger? *The floor has a light tan rug, and the walls are slightly off-white. *I cannot paint the walls or add any ceiling/wall fixtures/lamps because I'm only renting and they don't allow it. *I'm trying not to use too many lamps in the 500 sq. feet studio in order to save on electric bill. Thanks =)

I've been trying to move into a new room and the only thing I need is the flooring. It currently has pretty dirty hardwood floor and I would like to buy new hardwood flooring to put over it. Where can I buy pretty cheap hardwood floor (like a case for under $150)? ^^ I also heard of something called click lock hardwood floor, which is supposed to be super easy to install. So do you think that's a good kind to get? ^^ I'm on a very limited budget.
