Open Question: Is there anywhere in east kent where i can get remnant or discontinued kitchen cupboard doors and worktops?

i am wanting to give my kitchen a face lift although not wanting to redo it all as i rent. Is there anywhere that sells remnant or discontinued kitchen cupboard doors, drawers or worktops? I have looked in B&Q, and all other diy shops, although would want to spend a little less. please help.

Open Question: which paint to use for kitchen cabinets?

ok so heres how my kitchen looks so far, i just bought my first home and the cabinets are horrible and not well take care of, she has wall paper over the kitchen which is beige very neutral color but the wallpaper has decorative interesting pattern on it which makes the wall paper a winner to me, anyways the kitchen and dining room have this wallpaper and also a beige crown molding, im thinking thinking of painting the cabinets white i think it will really pop the wallpaper and crown but at the same time i was thinking of chocolate brown paint... im not sure, so any advice on colors would be very helpful, also my appliance and countertops are white, so i dont know if its going to be to much white, but the wall paper and crown could also contrast it... i dont know.. help please!!

Open Question: Need help choosing a color scheme for modern/minimalist apartment?

I'm moving to my first place on my own, excited to leave the roommate, but I have a lot of purchases/decisions to make to set up the new place on my own! As I'm looking at furniture I know what I like individually, but don't want to get a bunch of cool things that look totally awkward together, I need help figuring out a color scheme that works with the apartment, the furniture I already have, and the looks that I like. The apartment: - Light wood floors - White walls The furniture I have: - 2 Metal and Glass office desks - 2 Black office chairs I like: - Modern - Minimalist - Metal & Glass - Black - Dark Blue - Red I feel like there might be too much going on with light wood floors, black furniture, metal/glass desks, metal/black frame TV/computer monitors, etc. Any suggestions welcomed, thanks!
