Open Question: Looking for funky stores in dallas for home decor?Have done most of the major remodeling that I am going to do for the house. Now I need "icing" on the cake. I have been to a bunch of the chain stores looking for home decor (clocks, paintings, tablescape-stuff etc.) and nothing jumps out at me. I am looking for something a little more unique, I guess. So that brings me to my question, Where are these fabulous shops that I will be able to find that perfect sconce for my entryway? Any thoughts? Open Question: Can I paint over Semi-gloss paint thats water based? I want to faux paint my room.?I'm moving into a new apt in less than a week. They recently painted but I wanted to change it up a lil while its empty and Faux paint the walls a Antique leather finish. The walls are Semi-gloss water based and I wanted to know if I can paint over these with no issue or would I have do put a primer 1st? Also do I have to do anything else to prepare the walls before I put the base of my faux then later put the glaze afterwards? More Recent Articles |
