Open Question: Where can you find cheap bud vases?

I'm planning my sweet 16 in April and was looking for vases as centerpieces. Bud vases are really nice and I was planning to use them. Where in NY (maybe a wholesale place) can you find them? Also oversized martini vases! thanks =)

Open Question: how long before painting can i prep my walls with painter's tape?

in other words, is there such a thing as "too long" to leave painter's tape on walls, floors and ceilings before it will stick permanently? if i start prepping this week but do not begin painting for three or four weeks is that too long?

Open Question: My friend has a 1 bedroom flat on the ground floor.?

She had rented her flat out for a year to a female. She phoned my friend to say that the flat had a real dampness smell in it. So my friend had a damp control person out to see if and where the dampness was coming from. He couldnt find any dampness at all, and just told my friend to tell the woman to ventilate the flat regularly. She eventually moved out and my friend still cant get rid of the damp smell. There is no dampness at all, so why is there a damp smell in the flat?? Any experts on dampness out there, i would be pleased with the advice.
