I had white and light wood furniture...now I have dark wood and no other white. But this shelf is really the only thing that will fit in one of the corners and I love it. But now it does not go with the rest of the room at all. Any sugggestions on what to do? My colors are teal/aqua and chocolate brown. I was thinking of painting it to match my teal bedspread, but don't know if that would look good...and it's that shiny plasticy type of wood that is probably hard to paint. Any sugestions?! I just thought of maybe painting it in teal and stenciling something on the sides in brown...or vice versa in colors...?
