If I don't technically have a ton of money to spend, would it be a better idea to just shampoo the carpets and wait until I do have more money, or would it be worth it to spend the money and rip up the carpets and refurbish the hardwood floors underneath? How expensive is this job? How long does it take? I am so SICK of the carpet maintenance but I am worried I will run out of funds before my project is finished. I have recently moved into a house and within the front door is a glass panel, which means I can see who is at the door, but also those outside can see in. I want to cover the panel with some kind of tint to enable us to see out but those outside not to see in.
