Open Question: We just hung a HD t.v. on our bedroom wall. How can we hide/diminish the cords?

We put up a wall mount for our flat screen t.v. in our bedroom. It looks great except for the cords being visible on the white wall. Is there anything I can do to make this area look better.

Open Question: Where can I find a good cost estimator for home remodeling?

I need to find a cost estimator for general contractors for some home remodeling projects such as doors, windows, roof, trim, drywall, ect. Is there a website where I can plug in dimensions of my project and get an estimate of what a general contractor will charge?

Open Question: What kind I do about my apartment?

I live with my fam in this apartment we have section 8.A person came to check the apartment well the housing did. He put down that the carpet is dirty and needs to be clean. So he said either wash it or change the carpet. So we have that vacuum/carpet washer thing and it works very well. Our building manager wants someone instead of us washing it. So she hired someone to wash it and wants us to pay for it. We've been living here for months in this unit is it fair for us can we not pay at all and wash the carpet ourselves. I mean does someone have to come in or can we do it ourselves cause she a real bitch i mean. Please HElp THanks
