Open Question: What Color Should I Paint the Bonus Room in Our New House?My parents and I are moving and in our new house there is a large bonus room upstairs. Its of fair size for a room probably 25 feet by 20 feet. I get to use this room for whatever I want. The rest of the house has walls that are a light light brown or tan color with white crown molding and this room will have like a cream colored floor in berber carpet. I am 16 btw, and I want to use this room as a lounge with games, tv, pc, etc. Open Question: How much money can I make from running a gas line to the neighbors house? (A home Builder)?I had the gas company guy, Knocked on my door. Since I am the owner, he asked if I would have a problem running the gas line to the new house. That means, I have to sign a rite off. the gas guy told me, it would easier from my house. Rather than the gas line across the street. He said it would cost owner about $ 5000. I think the gas guy is a friend of home builder Dave. He said he can give me $500. Also, tried to make me feel sympathize for the owner saying that dave is building house and employing people even at a bad market. I think like a business man, he is a business man. What is the most I can make out of this situation? Any facts and answers will be help full. Open Question: REALLY NEED HELP DECORATING MY ROOM?hello, my names emma and i really need some help redoing me bedroom. im 16 btw its only a small room as well so i cant get much init which really iritates me so im having 2 make do. i really want my room to be personalised and 2 say alot about me. the only details that i can give you is that it is small and that it has blue painted walls and i have a single bed cos that is all that can sit in it. on one of my walls i have lots of pics of me and my family and friends cos they are my life so thats why i wanted my room to reflect on me. just underneath the wall with pics on it i have a little desk which has 2 draws on it if u can image it in your head and it has nothing on it so i need some accessories for it, errr above my single bed i have a poster of the nights of new york but for xmas my mum bought me a proper picture of a river which is nice but i cant hang it up because it doesnt have anything on the back of it. i hope u can imagine that cos my camera aint working at the moment so your gunna have to imagine it. basically i need ideas on how 2 make it look more grown up like sugestions of wall art for example i really like the 4 piece wall art u can sometimes get from next 2 go about me bed. i would also grately apriciate how to make my single bed to look more like a double bed for example 2 little pillows might work i dunno. and the final thing i would also be ever so grateful is for someone 2 make sugestions on what 2 do with my little desk because it has nothing on it. i have a lava lamp which i mgiht put on it but thats it i need moe accesories. i would also be thankful if people showed me picures if u can of good small sized teenage bedroom that i can have some guidence on as well as the tips that you give. thanks again Open Question: can someone please tell me is it possible to put an oak stain onto a red deal stairs and get a nice finish?i cant afford to buy an oak stairs there to expensve so im keepin my options open as a red deal stairs is a hell of a lot cheaper than the oak, all ideas welcome red deal is a pine stairs Open Question: Anyone know a site where a can get replacement blind slats?Open Question: redecorating my room...?i'm not really looking to paint it, just replace my desk and move things around. but i'm interested in taking what i have and making it look different... any little cute ideas? things i could hang, ways to do my closet, interesting things? i have stuff taped ALL over my walls, so posters or anything wouldn't help (i have no more room... i like things cozy, like i'm boxed in, and all of the things on my walls help me feel secure, i think). i'm looking to add useful things to my room and not just little decorative crap pieces. my room's very colorful and bright with aqua walls. I was going to do purple and lime green because those are my favorite colors, but if anything else looks better with purple then i'd like to keep my options open and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
