Open Question: what color should i paint my room? and room makeover ideas?I want a black and white theme, maybe black and white and red or something instead, since I've had a turquoise blue and white, beachy theme for the past 3-4 years and I'm sick of it now. How should I decorate my room? I have the blue and brown blankets, a poster/frame thing of a beach, and brown and vanilla colored curtains. (I have to keep the curtains but I like them and they would probably match my new room. I have one of those wall board things where you can stick pictures under the tight ribbon things, I have a postcard board that's going on the back of my hallway-to-room door, nothing but an old certificate thing on my closet door, and nothing that covers the wall behind my bed. Also have a blue framed mirror that I may repaint when we paint the room. What else can I add? Also really into black and white photography or pretty, color pictures that portray cities, nature, and etc. How did you decorate your room? Anything specific on your ceiling, walls, doors, etc.? This monster Victorian house that was designed by William Miller, a graduate and architect from Cornell University, for William O. Now, this house sits on an island, the Carleton Island, it's more than a century old, and it's falling apart at such a drastic rate that it's almost beyond repair and would cost more than four million dollars to repair.
