The red wire is connected to the "spare" next to heat, the yellow is connected to "heat", the black is connected to "cool" and the blue wire is loose and not connected. Help? Not sure whether to use tile paint (will it survive if we did use the fire) or heat resistant paint (will it adhere ok?)
