Open Question: Redoing a floor, there was carpet, it was glued down, and now were sanding it? What to do?I am redoing a room upstairs of my house. There was carpeting down, but I had to rip it up because I have pets, and, of course they ruined the carpeting. Come to find out, the carpet was glued down along with another layer of "foam" (not sure exactly what its called, but its the underlayment that goes under carpet). That was also glued down. Now I've gotten a chemical strip to take up some of the glue. It isnt hardwood floor underneith but just 2x4's. It seems nice enough to keep so I'm planning on just sanding it and putting a finish over it. However, there is still glue in between the boards and the grain of the wood. How do I go about fixing this and making it look like a nice floor??? Open Question: What are the tiles used on the show "what i hate about me?"?I love those tiles used on the show. My family loved that it was so pretty and the fact that it didn't mess up the paint. It would be so helpful if you could give a link to where I could find some tiles like that and directions on how to hang them up like they did on the show. Thank you so much!
