Open Question: Would mint green and lavender purple look good together for a bedroom?During our school winter break I'm going to redecorate my room. Right now its plain white with a weird dark green carpet(we'll hopefully get rid of it or i'll layer some rugs over it.) My two favorite colors are mint green and a lavender purple. I'm 13 right now and my room will prolly stay looking like this for a while, so I want to make a good decision. But idk if it'll look good together or weird. I'm gonna b doing a lot in my room, and it won't be all clean and stuff. Oh, and I was also thinking of doing stripes, but idk. So what do you think I should do? My room won't really ever match as well as ppl might think(lmao) but uh...I'm not all that into trends and stuff and i'm just my own person but i really need help with deciding. Open Question: Is this a decorating do or dont?My living room and kitchen and dining room are all one big room, the only thing separating the areas is the tile flooring in the kitchen. My question is about the curtains. I have 2 huge windows in the living room and directly across in the kitchen are 2 more identical windows. Do the curtains all have to be the same for all 4 windows since technically this is just one big square with nothing to divide the rooms? So if your sitting on the couch and look to your left you would see curtains, and if you look to your right you would see the other windows so how am i supposed to decorate? Right now our colors are reds and blacks in all 3 areas bc im not sure if im allowed to change the colors in one spot since its all just one big space? What is the rule for this?
