Open Question: Building a house out of Rail road Rails?I had the idea to build a house out of rail road rail sections when I saw a abandoned rail road being pulled apart, and they just scrapped the rails which weigh 136lbs each and are 39 feet long. Are they strong enough to build a house entirely out of, as you would with I beams? How would I go about buying a section of rail road for cheap? Do you think I could "borrow" some from a rail road that is no longer in use? Open Question: refinishing hardwood floors?I have hardwood floors under my carpet. I want to pull it out and refinishing them but they glued the carpet right on the hardwood. I read up on how to refinish them but they dont mention how to remove the glue just wondering what i can do or what my options are. My room isn't very big, but I feel like there is lots to do with it, if I just put my mind to it, but I'm not good with the re-decorating thing. I want there to be 2 main colours for my theme, but dull colours only, and no neon-bright pink etc kind of stuff. I want a third main colour, but an accent colour, so this would be for my pillows and small main things, etc. I have a computer and a tv, so I'm looking for some good stands, and tables, that would also match the colours of my room. And a new dresser too would be nice. Please provide websites if you can showing pictures of an older girl's bedroom. Also, what 3 colours should I have? I like the ikea look of course, and also, the cheaper the better, haha.
