Although it is a solid color, the material is very unique and i was wondering should i just purchase the same rug for the runner (they only come in 3 colors and the other colors don't match my decor). I live in a condo by the way, very open, spacious floor plan. At an antique store today, I bought a 1950s wall dispenser for foil, wax paper, and paper towels. It is in good condition, but a little dull with a few very faint rust-ish spots. How do I clean/ polish it? I believe the material may be aluminum, but not really sure. Whatever kitchen accessories in the 50s were usually made of, I guess it's probably that.
