Open Question: ceramic or metal braces?i'm getting braces on in march, and i really need to know which one is better. if you've never had braces, don't bother answering, because i'm looking for someone whose gone through the experience of having either type. ceramic are my first choice mostly because their less noticeable and i'm a sophomore in high school. i heard the ceramic stain, but i don't really eat/drink a lot of things that would stain them. does this matter? and let me know the pros and cons. metal are obviously the second choice but i'm not sure if i want these for the simple fact that, well, their metal. and idk if i want metal in my mouth for two years. i just think metal braces are more noticeable and would draw attention from everything else about me. pros and cons, please? ooh, and i'd also like to know any tips for caring for teeth while having braces. like...what can i do to not end up with yellow spots where the brackets are? With the use of a product like Kiltz applied first allow me to use latex over oil base. I love the results of oil base but just do not have the time to deal with the drying time and clean up. Thanks. PS, i know there are many different types of primers. Open Question: What kind of light bulbs are best to read by?I have 3 table lamps but my living room is still too dim for my taste and no matter what bulbs I buy, it doesn't seem to improve. All of the bulbs I have tried give off a yellow light, even the Reveal type. I have no overhead fixture. Any suggestions?
