So, I'm redecorating my room, and I was thinking about doing one wall chalk board paint. Is that a good idea to do? Will I out grow of it? And what colors would go well with it? (Nothing to bright, and I'm a girl)! Any ideas?

I have decided to paint my "snug" in red. It is a rectangular room and the smaller walls that are opposite each other will both be a deep dark burgundy colour. One of these walls has a large window in it. The carpet will be a matching burgundy colour with a large pale rug and then the accessories will be a vivid bright red and some will be ivory. The larger walls will both be an ivory colour. There is a bright white skirting board around the base of the room and bright white coving at the very top of the walls, touching the ceiling. I can't decide what colour to do the ceiling - bright white or ivory. My husband thinks white because it will make the room feel brighter. I was thinking ivory for the contrast with the white on the coving to make it stand out more. Plus i find ivory to be more soothing on the eyes. What do you think?
