My room is currently like a bubblegum pink, and i DON'T want that color anymore!! I am 15 and want a more mature color on my walls (i was even thinking stripes??), and with that color furniture that would match! OHHHH... And cute bedding to match the furniture and walls!! BUT... I wanted at one point to paint it pink and purple with black accenting it. now i think the pink might still be too girly. the problem is i already bought purple decoration to put on the pink walls, and pink decors to put on the purple walls. my room is small so i dont want anything too too dark. Upon delivery, the guys plugged it in only to find that the electrical whatnot (that shines a light from the upper top of the armoire) was corroded and obviously wouldn't work. They ordered a new electric unit, but once the repair guy came to install it, he realized that the unit couldn't be repaired, and the armoire is out-of-production. So, I went to the store to pick out something else. They said that I wouldn't have to pay delivery on the new piece, but shouldn't they also refund my original delivery charge, since I paid for a broken armoire? Open Question: My Front Porch Lights?I have a pair of porch lights on my front porch and recently one of the panes of glass in one of the fixtures got broken. Since I will have to have a new piece of glass made anyway, I thought about just having every pane in both fixtures re-made in frosted glass. Do you think frosted glass would look good in my lights. Open Question: cost to lower ceiling for loft conversion?this may sound like a stupid question, but i hope to get my loft converted in the near future. However the head room is a little short, so i have been told that it may help to lower the ceilings. Does anyone know how much it would cost to lower it with a coverage of approx 4 x 6 meters. Any help would be great as i cant find any advice on the 'net.
