Open Question: How can I fill in the gap due to furniture placement?I had a single door-sized gap (no door, only a gap) between my living room and dining space at the entry. I had a bookshelf that I put it the gap that faced the living room with its back to the dining space. I put a nice antique shoe rack half the height of the bookshelf near entry that covers half the back of bookshelf. I have an ugly 3 by 2 ft gap at the back of the bookshelf showing off towards the dining space. What should I do to cover it? Will a painting or plant do? I love plants.Can I have plant to fill in the gap? How?
