Open Question: How do I convince my dad to let me have hardwood floors in my room instead of the area rug?my brother went off to the army... so i got his room.. :DDD im redoing EVERYTHING... im painting the walls, and im making it my own style... but the UGLY BRIGHT blue rug that covers the wood floor underneath... http://s538.photobucket.com/albums/ff342/lizzuneverknow/?action=view¤t=PictureorVideo558.jpg i think with a little vacuuming, and if needed, some polish, those floors would look BEAUTIFUL... my dad thinks that dust-bunnies seem to end up on hard floors more often then rugs... how do i convince him to let me remove the rug untill i move out??? it doesnt go with ANY of the colors i have planned... PLEASE HELP... thanks to all who answer.. :)) Open Question: What are some decor ides that bring the outdoors, indoors?I LOVE being outside! Camping, fishing, hiking... anything to commune with Mother Nature. I want to bring those fantastic feelings inside my home. I have some plants and wooden furniture... is there anything else I can add? I keep thinking of building a tree out of my wall??? some kind of border ... vines, ivy?
