Open Question: Can you put minwax pre-stain wood conditioner on oak wood cabinets?It says on the directions to help ensure even stain colore penetration adn beautifel results , pretreat sofr or porous wools such as pine, maple, alder AND birch with minwax pre stain wood conditioner. Apply wood conditioner , allow to penetrate for 5-15 minutes. then wipr off excess. Aplly stain within 2 hours of prtreatment. So does that mean that that after 15 minutes we can start applying stain. or do we have to wait 2 hours and then apply the stain. Please help we need to start to condition it now if possible if can be conditioned considering that it is oak wood. any other advice about working with cabinets in the kitchen would be so greatful. thanks in advance. Open Question: Where can I find an approx. 3' - 3.5' CURVED shower curtain rod?I want to put a curved shower rod in my shower but my apartment only has a free standing shower, meaning there is no tub, just enough room for one person to shower. I have been looking into many different curved rods but all range from 54"+ and I have yet to find one in-store or online that is small enough to fit my shower. Do they even make these in my size?
