Where the heck can i find them?Open Question: How to replace an interior door?Okay so I have some common knowlege and I am sure this is a preety simple question but here we go, I bought an interior door to replace the ugly wood doors on the bedrooms to my house with the nice white 6 pannel doors, anyways the door I got is the right width but its almost a 1/2 inch too tall. I am sure the door is hollow inside, or assume so I dont think I can just take a 1/4 off top and bottom? That way the mounts to the door frame line up? Can I do that and should I just use a table saw to do this or what. The door was only $20 and a shop locally said they can do all the doors in the house for about $65 a piece but? I dunno I thought I would give it a try, what do you all think? what do I need to do to make this work. If I can do one then I will buy the rest, otherwise I will just bring them to the door place but I would like to save some $$ Thanks yall Open Question: What you think about this site: www.kamatsu.webs.com?I want to build a good site in building area and i need some ideas. Kitchen- I am thinking a light light green.... appliances are white???? what do you think!! Thanks so much! I am looking for a bold but not crazy look... so any suggestions please!! Open Question: Tiling (vertically) curved wall?I have a stone barn conversion which has one tall curved corner. The radius is about 3 feet. I am going to install a kitchen in this room. I will get granite counter top cut to match the curve, but above this I want some ceramic tiling or some other splash resistant material. I don't suppose I can buy curved tiles - if I did, they would have to accurately match my radius. Has anyone any suggestions? I guess maybe a mosaic tile on a fabric backing? Anyone any experience? How about any other materials for the job? Thanks, Paul. Thinking about it, in order to use a mosaic tile, the wall would have to be precisely vertical. otherwise the area I am needing to tile would not be a proper rectangle. This is the case in my house - the wall leans out slightly as it goes up. I.e. for each foot of distance at the counter top, there might be 1.1 feet at the top IYSWIM. Perhaps I need another material. or I suppose I could use larger, unpatterened tiles and taper them slightly. Sounds tricky!
