Open Question: my bed is way too big for my room, especially my headboard which takes up basically my entire wall?

and the headboard is so detailed that it makes the room even more claustrophobic. What should I do? I want to just have mattresses, no bed frame or headboard, but my mom will get so mad at me since we spent money on the bed. I bought this bed 5 years ago, so it's not like I just got it and suddenly don't like it. it's also too tall for me, i can't even get in without jumping. I've just never said anything out of fear that she'll get angry. But I get panic attacks and I don't even have room in my room without bumping into my bed. What should i do? Should i tell my mom and ask about removing it? Or it there something i can do to my room with the bed still in there? I can't paint my walls.

Open Question: What color should I paint my kitchen ceiling?

I took the leap and painted my kitchen bright orange. The floors and cabinets are DARK wood. I do not have a lot of open wall space so the orange is not to much however if I where to paint the ceiling orange it would be WAY to much. so I am trying to decide what color to paint the ceiling. I have lots of light and the orange really brightens it up so a dark color on the ceiling would work. Thanks the kitchen is 17 x 27 so it is a large ceiling
