However I was told it would be cheaper to sand it and polyurethane it all over again and shellac it. It is the coldest in this room and I was told it was because of my floor. What should I do? I mentioned the shower door a couple of weeks ago about how loose it was and again I asked him to look at it see what he could do, he is the handyman around here I even left him a note, we do not have the money to pay someone from a repair place to fix it, again nothing go done about it. I may add he does not miss the Olympics nor football by the way. I asked him again the day before yesterday, I got the "Ok I will" nothing got done about it....well it just fell off and the 300.00 door just shattered, I did not say one thing, now he is pissed and yelled at me saying "Go ahead and say it, I know it should have been fixed long ago" he is mad at me...ok I wanna hear this one, and I NEVER ONE TIME raised my voice I always asked nicely, if you mention anything to often you are a nag....even if it is in a nice way....so now my shower has no door. Open Question: How to display something that's two sided?I received a present and I would like to frame it. The problem is that it's two sided. Is there anyway to display it in a way that both sides would be able to seen? This is probably obvious but I can't think of anything Thanks in advance! Open Question: how would i install a hardwood plank floor?i have hardwood planks (non tongue and groove) that i would like to install as a bathroom floor. i know that i have to use cement backer board over the sub floor, but how would i attach the wood planks to the backer board? i would hate for nails to show on the surface of the wood. is it possible to glue the planks directly onto the backer board? any advice is much appreciated. Kitchen island and perimeter are lapidus granite, dark brown cabinets, steel appliances, hardwood floor. Red pendant lighting above island and sink. Also, the kitchen has 2 big corner windows.
