Open Question: Needs help decorating nursery?i bought pink princess wallpaper , she has a white crib and the walls are currently white, i cant decide on a color for the walls. can you help? Open Question: Would it be weird to have Commercial carpeting throughout my home?I have a 2br 1 story home about 1100 sq feet, I have Ceramic tile in the entryway and in the kitchen. The Bathrooms have vynal flooring. The Carpet in the 2 br's, the hallway,and in the living room is pretty much shot. its a plush style. Thing is, I have 3 cats and 2 large fish tanks. Seems like every time the cats have an accident, its on the carpet and when I clean out the fish tanks dribbling a little water here and there is unavoidable. Looked into lamenet flooring(Pergo flooring) expensive and if it gets wet, its ruined. Hardwood, way too high $$$, way too easy to damage. Forget it. I considered Ceramic tile throughout but would be cold in the winter and just not that comfortable. I dont want to regular carpet because it wont hold up. So... I am considering getting commercial carpet installed, everyone thinks I'm nuts but it makes sense cost wise and with my animals. If I go to sell the place somewhere down the road would it hurt the re-sale value? Open Question: How can I redecorate my small bathroom for a low price?I am fifteen and I hate the whole plain white bathroom deal. It's not just my bathroom so I have to take in consideration other people use it. My mom said I could redecorate it if what I wanted to do was very inexpensive. The bathroom has no windows. When you walk in, the sink is to the right, the toilet is next to it with a space of maybe one foot. The wall you look at when you first walk in has a space from the end of the toilet to the start of the tub of about three feet and six inches. Then the wall to the left of that is all shower, tub. The sink has a small cabinet under it. I think the floor is vinyl, it feels plasticy, i guess you could say. I need ideas for classy colors, storage, and accessories. Detailed answers would be greatly appreciated. Are not renting so we can do pretty much whatever we would like. The lighting is on the wall above the sink. More Recent Articles
