Im not repainting my walls, im just going to get a new comforter and stuff. Im also getting heated wood floring in there so my question is what color should i have the floor. Im thinking a darker brown because all of my framings around the door and window is a darker brown and not black so im not going to do black. And i was thinking of painting my furniture black cuz now its like light brown wood. My house is a 3 br/ 1 ba yellow siding house with a front porch. It's very country. My living room currently has a very light beige berber carpet. I may have that pulled out to refinish the underlying hardwood to match the rest of the house. The ceiling is hardwood. The top 2/3 of the walls are wallpaper and the bottom 1/3 is wood with matching molding. The wood is a medium color (not cherry or mahogany). I also have a wood burning heater that has been converted to gas, sitting on a brick hearth that goes up the wall. I want to change the color of the wallpaper, probably with paint. I am also going to get new furniture. I just need some ideas for color and patterns. I like a lot of different things; like: earthy colors, neutral, etc. I want to get started right away!
