Open Question: *SCENE* Girl bedroom; help me please?Well basically i have really light pink walls and wanted to do like a fairyland dream thing. But i'm not sure. What do youu think? Open Question: Would cream walls go with white kitchen cupboards?My kitchen is really small with black tiles and black work tops so it looks quite cold I want to warm it up a bit any ideas? Open Question: im taking out old patio doors and framing a exterior wall in its place whats the best procedure?Open Question: I Have a drywall question concerning putting up the walls first?I understand you are supposed to drywall the ceiling before the walls and I understand why however I would like to work around this and put up the walls first. The reason is I'll have help with the ceiling next week and I am an impatient person and I can't wait to see some progress on this project. I'm 50 years old and even using a brace will be to much for me to do alone. I also don't want to rent/buy a lift. I prefer to have actual human help when it comes to the ceiling. That said I THINK I've come up with a solution. Can I adhere a small pieces of drywall say (6"x4') along the edge of the ceiling as a guide for putting up each? Will this work or is there something I'm missing? I know my husband won't go for buying a whole new bedding set and was wondering if I could change the look by putting a duvet cover over it. The wall will have about an inch of space on each side of it once the picture is hung. I think it looks good but I am worried that I might be commiting some interior design faux pas.
