Open Question: How else can I light up a room that has no power besides using candles?

Also if you can think of a way to heat it that's cheap too, that would be great :) Outlets would work. but there is no power. And the room might be more like..a whole house.

Open Question: How do you paint over a black wall?

We're moving into a house next month and one of the first things we want to do is to change the color of the walls. The living room is painted black and it makes it really dark in there. We're not sure what color we want to paint it yet, but we want something that'll lighten it up a bit. How do we paint over such a dark wall without having to use a zillion coats of paint?

Open Question: Where to go for bedding?

Ohkay, so I'm going to redo my room and I need some places to go for teen bedding, preferably inexpensive. I looked everywhere and I just can't find IT. I've looked at PB Teen, Target, Urban Outfitters, Walmart, Overstock, Delia's, Amazon, Ebay, etc. Is there anything different out there? Or should I just go with something I found from above? Any suggestion helps, I'm open to anything. Thanks.

Open Question: How can I make my future home look like a hotel room? (and other questions)?

--->Any tips on how I can model many of the future rooms in my future house after common hotel room styles? I feel so comfortable in pretty much all hotel rooms, so I would like to have that element in my future home, or AT LEAST in my master bedroom. --->Would it depend on the exact chain of hotel? I---> haven't been in any extravegant hotels; pretty much just affordable chains like Econo Lodge and such. ---> Also, is there a way I can blend many common home styles into one? For instance, there are modern-styled homes, homes with a country touch, homes with suburban aspects, and much more, as you already know. You see, I don't want to have to choose a concrete style when deciding on its internal design, I want to be eclectic. ---> Will all of this depend on my fiscal status? Will I have to have a large amount of money in order to pull all of this off?
