Open Question: Which colors do you layer first when doing a Bellagio Faux finish?

I bought all my paints months ago and my project was put on hold. I lost my booklet that had the instructions and layering info in it. I am snowed in and have been for like 2 weeks now and haven't been able to get to home depot to get another one and behr is so awesome that they don't even have it on there website or are able to email anything like it to me. If anyone knows really how to do this I would really appreciate it, since I am really ready to paint. I just need to know if you layer the lighter colors first and then a little of the dark goes on top or vice versa. Also are you supposed to paint the entire room the base color and let it dry and then do the top textures or do you paint a 3 by 3 section of the base color and then layer?

Open Question: i want to paint some laminated?

I want to paint some some shiny laminated wood panelling that i have on the walls in my mobile home, i have bought some preparation stuff that you put on prior to painting, so as the paint will adhere to it. But i was told i have to sand the panelling first. Do i really need to do this and if i do is it just a light rub down or do i have to make sure that there is no shine left on the laminate panelling at all. I would have thought i could have just painted over the preparation stuff , without sanding or whats the point in buying it. All the panelling surface is sound,
