Open Question: Ireland...How much does it cost to paint the outside of a house?!?

just wonderin if anyone had rough figures? (I would have paint got), Is it based on labour per day or size of house? it's a large bungalow!!? also is it a big job or does a day or too do it??! haha sorry haven't a clue!

Open Question: Where can I find more original ring latches?

I am trying to find a ring latch for a door (NOT a ring push/pull or door knocker, but a ring LATCH). Almost every ring latch I can find is either the same design, or the ring size is only 4 inches or smaller. This link shows the typical style that most ring latches out there seem to look like: http://www.wildwesthardware.com/hinges/Gate_Latches_Old_World_Twisted_Ring_Large_LARINGLGE-094%20copy2.jpg Why do nearly all of them look like this? Does one designer have a corner on the market, or are they all just copying each other? I want one for a large door, where the ring is between 4 and 5 inches wide. And I don't want this common design that is so prevalent. Where can I find one?
