Open Question: Appearance aside, is bonded leather less durable than genuine leather?

I'm looking to buy a sofa, but in black, so the appearance of the leather won't matter much - no visible grain anyway. Thanks!

Open Question: What are the best brands of leather furniture?

I'm specifically looking for a leather sofa. I want a brand that's known for quality, comfort and durability (not necessarily stylishness or appearance - I can judge from the pictures whether it's my style; I'm ordering online without trying it out first, so I want quality ensured). Thanks!

Open Question: What's the weight difference between a leather sofa and a leather reclining sofa?

I know I'd avoid a hide-a-bed because they're so heavy and hard to move. Are the recliners just as bad in this respect? Also, am I likely to sacrifice the quality wooden frame if I go with a reclining sofa? Thanks in advance.
