Open Question: Can I make my walls stronger?I purchased a striking item (it's for delivering strong kicks and punches to practice martial arts) and I'm supposed to mount it on a wall. It's pretty heavy and one of the few spots we have to hang it is the wall which seperates the bathroom, from our workout room. I found studs to mount it on, but I'm starting to question whether the weight of this thing combined with daily beatings and blows of me and my brothers will make the wall give way. That would be VERY bad. Is there anything we can do to make that particular wall stronger before mounting this thing? by the way... when I said me and my brothers I did not mean to imply that we'd all be using it at the same time. It's meant to be used by one person at a time. Just wanted to make that clear. Open Question: Which nail design should I get?I'm getting a mani/pedi and I'm using sparky light green, tan, and sparkly gray. The lady is using a white nail paint for designs. Should I get a white pine tree as a design? Or should I get a white carry-out box as a design? Open Question: Electric Dryer Venting Duct Size 3"?My contractor just installed the GE electric dryer for me. The dryer is 15" away from wall and for some reason the contractor only used 3" duct for venting. I have been doing research online and all recommended 4" duct to be used. In my case, the dryer is only 15" away from the wall. Will the 3" duct be sufficient? These things are on the ceiling about every 20m down the hallway, in class rooms, library, hall, everywhere. It seems like a lot of security cameras to monitor. Open Question: Can I bleach pastel yellow 100% cotton curtains white?We have a set of pastel yellow 100% cotton curtains in our kitchen that we'd like to turn white (we're painting the room soon and the colors won't match). Will bleach work? How should we go about removing the dye? We're fine with gambles because, worst case scenario, we'll go out and buy new curtains. However, if we can save money by bleaching (or using some other method), we'd love to try it. Open Question: I need a globe for my Harbor Breeze ceiling fan?I went to Home Depot and that's where they sell the fan but they don't have the 1 800 number for me and they don't sell the replacement globe for my fan. I searched a few places and went to the websites that were provided like harborbreeze.com and it said it no longer existed. I don't know where to get the model # for my ceiling fan but I'm sure if I can e-mail a picture of it to a company who knows Harbor Breeze fans then they can help me find the globe I need.
