Many thanks, 10 points for most indepth and helpful question caz x Open Question: PAINTING OUTSIDE TRIM: OIL BASE PAINT OR WATERBASE PAINT?This is the wood trim around the doors and windows. They face the south. I painted these maybe 5yrs ago using a water base paint. It's really bad. Im thinking i'll have to scrape/prim and paint again.Would oil base paint work better in this case? Open Question: Installing Carpet squares?Has anyone ever used these instead of installing wall to wall carpet. I have 4 cats and am looking at something that can easily be replaced just in case. I understand that has an adhesive backing. Is the carpet thick? Can use remove a square with ease? Are the seems very visible? Is is a good choice for bedrooms. I also have several grandchildren so I need something durable and easy to clean. I'm somewhat of a clean freak so I am looking for something that will be economical to an extent, easy to clean and of course durable. Thank you in advance. Please only reply if you have used carpet squares or have knowledge of these.
