Is it cheaper to buy paver stones, gravel - sand etc. from someplace like lowes or home depot or a masonry center? Can I just go in and buy from a masonry supplier or do I need to be in the construction business? Open Question: what is the piece of cabinetry called that encases a stove on the top and sides?looks like a fireplace surround only for your kitchen stove. Can also be made of brick, but i like the wood ones with cabinets. do they have to be custom made or can i buy them somewhere? Open Question: modern masters countertop transformations alternatives?I was at lowes and seen the modern masters countertop transformations, this stuff looks awesome and would be a huge upgrade from our current white/yellow laminate countertops. However at $248 I wanted to research my other options before I purchased the product. I found some other kits where you PAINT on a granite look, but I am NOT artistic. I really like the small little flakes in the kit. Does anyone know of similar alternative products OR where I can find it cheaper then $248? From what I have seen its exclusive to lowes. I have lighter color wood things in my room, and would kind of want it to match. I am looking for something that is obviously sturdy, and something I can put my computer chair at. I purchased 8 of them and I've arranged them into two squares each with four frames. I like the arrangement and don't want to change it, but the frames are very close together so anything in them needs to be a "series". Thank you Open Question: how to remove polyurethane and or stain from hardwood floors?i recently put down hardwood stair treads stained them and put on two coats of polyurethane, in the process, i put down hardwood flooring, but the polyurethane or stain wasn't completly dry, now i have foot prints on my hardwood from the stain or polyurethane, is there a way to get it out without sanding it?
