Open Question: Decorating on a budget? and more... Open Question: Decorating on a budget?After a couple of years of bad luck, (to say the least) I've been offered a council house. I'm really happy with that and looking forward to settling down, but as you can probably gather from the question, I don't have much spare money to decorate. Also I don't know much about interior design and stuff, would it look alright to just put blown vinyl on all of the walls right through the house and paint it white? The house is quite a mess it all needs decorating. Open Question: My new carpet is making me ill. The smell is horrible. I opened windows, doors, and have a fan going.?Open Question: Is there any GOOD liquid sander?We expect that in the next 3-5 years we will completely remodel the kitchen. In the mean time, I would like to paint the cabinets. I am not particularly worried about doing the painting, but I am concerned about the time that I will have to spend on prep work. Is there some liquid sander that really works well, or some other method that will shave a lot of time off of this task? While I am asking, what paint would you recommend. I'm guessing a gloss latex enamel. Open Question: Can anyone recommend some pictures to brighten up our office?We have a very small office with only space for 16 people...
