Open Question: Help arched doorway construction needed?hi i have a question. we have an extra living room in which we plan on turning it into a bedroom with double french doors installed but there is a problem, the doorway has an arched and i would like to know how to remove or block the arch so that we can install the french door in correctly without any gap or uneven surface. how would we come about that? we have measure the size of the french door and it is a perfect match for the size of the width but because of the arch there is going to be space on top. therefore i need help to cover or remove the arch. please anyone out there help!!! what is the cheapest way of doing that and if i hire a contractor how much will the cost be just to fill in that arched gap??
