Open Question: Help decorating my apartment!? and more... Open Question: Help decorating my apartment!?I am in an apartment complex. They do not allow us to paint the walls nor put wallpaper on them. I found the cutest wallpaper and i HAVE to find a way to put it on the walls. Any idea? It is a very, VERY long wall so putting wallpaper on this would make a big difference. What should i do? Hang it, paste it, etc etc etc. 10 points! Open Question: What is a good mattress in Full size for $400.00 or under?I need a new mattress I have a full size bed I don't need a box spring just a mattress I have 400.00 to spend on it max I would like to keep it 250.00 or under if I can. I want a pillow top and not too hard more on the soft side then firm. Any ideas on what a good mattress would be for me? Open Question: What kind of primer and paint is best for exterior wooden stairs?I will be scraping off the old paint and will likely choose white paint but I need to know what are the good primers and paint out there? Latex or water based or oil based paint? please advise... Open Question: Weird light in my room?!?Ok, so every time a plane passes by my room at night i can see it fly by. And planes have a blinking light. Ok there is where is gets... weird! After the plane flies by, a few seconds lighter, a blinking light travels across my three corners of my wall. Why is that? The light blinks just like the plane does so I assume it's from the plane but why does it come after the plane is out of sight? And how does it get in my room and travel near the bottom of my wall? So if u have any ideas that would be awesome Open Question: what is your opinion on vessel sinks?My plumber told me not to install a vessel sink in the bathroom because the water will splash out of the bowl, leave water spots on the granite, and be difficult to keep clean. I like the contemporary look of a vessel sink but don't want a sink that is high maintenance. Open Question: Black and white Kitchen. idea please?My kitchen has black and white checkered flooring with a beech kitchen. The small kitchen appliances are all black and silver. kitchen tiles are white. Previously I had brick effect wall paper along the end wall and i though it looked good. What do you think.? I have now painted this wall red but i am unsure. Thinking of adding a few small red accessories tea towel etc. I am torn between keeping the red or going back to the brick. When kitchen is untidy red seem to emphasize this I think i have already make my mind up but what do you think. Thanks annemarie Open Question: How long do you have to wait to repair and repaint your walls after foundation repair?I just had foundation repair on Jan. 25 and was curious all the cracks that are in the walls, how long should I wait before I repair them and repaint the walls? I don't want to do all the repairs and then have it crack again. Open Question: Primer for painting exterior window frames.?I live in Vietnam and its quite difficult to buy the correct paints.I need to buy primer for my wooden window frames and i have found primer that is for metal.Will this be ok? or should i search for a primer specifically for wood. Open Question: helloo..i just saw a white smoky shadow floating in my livingroom for a few seconds?what was that????!!! its the first time i see such a thing but usually i see a black shadows usually children size..can any one please explain or help ?what i just saw?
