I have an old oil lamp here and i was wondering if someone could help me figure out what type of lamp it is? There is a brass plate on the front with the inscription... THE PROTECTOR LAMP & LIGHTING CO LD NO.38 MAKERS ECCLES, MANCHESTER There are also markings on the glass around the flame burner which are... M&Q On either side of these letters there is the numbers 58-25 on the left of the sign & on the right 59-5. I understand that these are old mining lamps but not so sure about anything else and i would really like to know how much these can sell for. Thanks for ur answers in advance :) OMG!! Thanks! Open Question: How do you remove ceramic tiles from concrete flooring?I have ceramic tiles installed directly on the concrete flooring of the lower level of our home. The grout is impossible to keep clean and in some cases the concrete is showing through. Would like to remove the tiles or even apply a new floor on top of it but not sure which is the best option and how I would install a new floor if I didn't remove first.
