Open Question: Help Please Me With My Lamp?

Hey guys! I have an old oil lamp here and i was wondering if someone could help me figure out what type of lamp it is? There is a brass plate on the front with the inscription... THE PROTECTOR LAMP & LIGHTING CO LD NO.38 MAKERS ECCLES, MANCHESTER There are also markings on the glass around the flame burner which are... M&Q On either side of these letters there is the numbers 58-25 on the left of the sign & on the right 59-5. I understand that these are old mining lamps but not so sure about anything else and i would really like to know how much these can sell for. Thanks for ur answers in advance :) OMG!! I just noticed what i have wrote as a subject line for this question haha! It should say " Please Help Me With My Lamp" lolx

Open Question: Carpet cleaning products?

what is the best product to take out ground in dirt and pet messes my carpet is supposed to be green....its black in a majority of spots, and hard in other spots! i mean it doesnt have to be like 100 percent every stain taken out just so it doesnt look so nasty, and i can actually have people over without them thinking im a slob, because im the complete opposite. my fiancee and and dont have the money right now to have all the carpet replaced and the previous owners (his family) obviously didnt care about the carpet, or cleaning for that matter. any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Open Question: How do you remove ceramic tiles from concrete flooring?

I have ceramic tiles installed directly on the concrete flooring of the lower level of our home. The grout is impossible to keep clean and in some cases the concrete is showing through. Would like to remove the tiles or even apply a new floor on top of it but not sure which is the best option and how I would install a new floor if I didn't remove first.
