I painted all our existing non-matching furniture white. (Dresser/Vanity, Headboard, Desk, Book Shelf etc) The walls are a tan/beige colour. Now I'm trying to find ways to implement colour. I know I can just throw some colourful cushions in there, art and flowers..but that's not enough. The bedspread is white, with a sparse amount of dark red/green flowers and leaves. I glued a bunch of fake flowers around the vanity mirror that match the bed colours. I'll also have a few vases with the same flowers in them. Now what else can I do? Maybe some ideas of how to brighten up the furniture itself? Something I can paint on them, or..something. I also plan to put an entertainment unit, futon or couch, and tv into the room (it's quite large) but they won't match the all-white theme. Any ideas on how to split the room up? Room dividers are quite expensive. My friend suggested bi-fold closet doors as a cute room divider, any other creative ideas?
