Today, my sister & I both visited two open houses in New York and I think I'll be moving into one of these apartments. ( Pics )?Alright, so I got my room redone a couple months ago but it just doesn't feel just right! I think that it needs some more "umph". So I have some pics of my room so you guys could tell me what to do to make it lok more like it's out of a magazine! The thing is that they will only give me part of the $ and I must pay the rest and well being 16 with a part job doesn't leave much decoratint $ so can you guys tell me places were they have cheap things to decorate a bed room,living room,bathroom,and maybe something for 10 year old becouse my. Little sister might go up too... THANX GUYS :P Open Question: Why Do When You Hang Up Posters, after a while they aren't firm against the wall?Why do my posters get like filled with air? When i hang them up on the wall there straight against the wall and all is good, but a day or 2 later they get filled with air and its so annoying, for someone as like me everything needs to be perfect, i hang them with thumb tacks, is there anyway at all you can hang them with something else and they will stay against the wall with no air holes? i take the tacks out, straighten out the poster, push it against the wall, and tac it up, it looks fine, but a day later it has air behind it and looks sloppy and annoying! guh! should i use like blue clay or something? confuseddd! Open Question: Can any mattress be used with on adjustable base?Ok. I'm getting an double adjustable base as I already have a double mattress which is soooo comfortable and I was just wondering; can any mattress be used on an adjustable base ? Tyvm x :) Open Question: any ideas about remodeling room?So i am going to paint my walls blue and purple, i have a blue and purple bed spread that i have that i love. I'm going to get a rug (either blue or purple or both depending on what i can find) and some curtains, I am also thinking about getting a plant. I wanted to get a bed frame since my bed is pretty much a matress on a box, any ideas where i can get one like really cheap? My family is on a really tight budget so any of this stuff where i can get it cheap would be great :D Also, any other ideas of what i could re-do my room?, I can not get new carpet. Open Question: Where can I find bedding and home accesories like the ones at Urban Outfitters?Open Question: spray paint is bubbling on primed metal?I bought a piece of galvanized metal (tin I think) that I primed to receive metallic spray paint. The primer didn't stick so my husband used grafitti remover to take off the primer. He then reprimed it, which then seemed to stick,however, when he sprayed the metallic paint on the primed metal, the paint started bubbling as if it hit paint remover. He says the grafitti remover is same as regular paint remover. I say that grafitti remover is not for jobs requiring repainting. Any ideas? More Recent Articles
